CONGREGATIONAL QUARTERLY PRAYER MEETING | February 1
Engaging with the Lord through prayer is one of the most powerful ways we can connect with His heart for our lives and for the world. Because of this, the ECC Elder Board and Prayer Team are organizing quarterly prayer meetings for our church to gather together as a whole faith community, to pray together for the ministries of ECC, for our staff and volunteers, for concerted and communal prayer time as a church for God’s clear direction and purpose for us, and for the wider Body of Christ in the world.
In contrast to the Prayer Team’s regular prayer meetings in which specific requests from individuals are prayed for, this gathering will be more focused on general ECC needs and the needs of the global church. The topics for prayer will be designated by the Elder leading that quarterly prayer meeting. There will be opportunities for group silent prayer as well as for attenders to pray aloud as they feel led. For more information, reach out to Tessa Pinkstaff at tessa.pinkstaff@emmanuel.church.

Ash Wednesday is the start of a season called Lent where followers of Christ intentionally refocus their hearts and minds on confession, forgiveness, and reconciliation. Join us we begin the journey of Lent with an Ash Wednesday Services on Wednesday, February 22nd. The service will be at the Shoreview Community Center at 7:00pm and will include worship, teaching, the imposition of ashes, and is open to families with kids of all ages.

We are excited to be bringing back our MomCo Meetup! The MomCo (formally known as MOPS) encourages and equips moms to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders, in relationship with Jesus, and in partnership with the local church.
MomCo charges an annual fee of $37. With this fee you will be joining the 50,000+ of moms around the world who are investing in themselves and the next generation. Your membership has a direct impact on our global ministry and supports over 4,000 MomCo Meetups in 100+ different countries. After registering here with ECC, please register directly on the MomCo website at www.themom.co/join. You will enter the code SDIK and that will link you to the Emmanuel Covenant Church Meetup!
Our meetup will be the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month, 7:00-9:00pm at Emmanuel Studios. We will launch Thursday, September 25th and the last session of the year will be May 14th. (Will meet one time in November/December).
