CONGREGATIONAL QUARTERLY PRAYER MEETING | November 9

Engaging with the Lord through prayer is one of the most powerful ways we can connect with His heart for our lives and for the world. Because of this, the ECC Elder Board and Prayer Team are organizing quarterly prayer meetings for our church to gather together as a whole faith community, to pray together for the ministries of ECC, for our staff and volunteers, for concerted and communal prayer time as a church for God’s clear direction and purpose for us, and for the wider Body of Christ in the world.

In contrast to the Prayer Team’s regular prayer meetings in which specific requests from individuals are prayed for, this gathering will be more focused on general ECC needs and the needs of the global church. The topics for prayer will be designated by the Elder leading that quarterly prayer meeting. There will be opportunities for group silent prayer as well as for attenders to pray aloud as they feel led. For more information, reach out to Tessa Pinkstaff at tessa.pinkstaff@emmanuel.church.

HAY IS FOR HORSES, HAYSTACKS ARE FOR HUMANS | November 8

“Twenty- Somethings” reimagined as a young adults Saturday night indoor/outdoor bonfire and chili night. We’ll stay warm and cozy with great food, fellowship and an informal time of worship around the blazing fire. FUN AFTER 50: Feed My Starving Children & Dinner. REGISTER HERE!

Join a group of those over 50 from ECC for an evening of serving! We will be packing meals for Feed My Starving Children on Saturday, November 8. The packing time slot is 5-6:30pm.

PRACTICING THE WAY COURSE | September 22- November 17. REGISTER HERE!

We are all being formed by something . . . what might it look like to be intentionally formed by the Holy Spirit, Scripture, and the example of Jesus?

This study (for both women and men) is an on-ramp to spiritual formation, exploring what it means to follow Jesus and laying the foundation for a life of apprenticeship to Him.

What to Expect:
Over eight sessions, you’ll form a foundational understanding of intentional spiritual formation. We’ll explore how to follow Jesus in our busy, distracted, and increasingly secular culture.

We’ll watch a video together from Practicing the Way and enjoy table discussions about the material. The course will run from Monday, September 22 to Monday, November 17 from 6:30-8:00pm each week.

The MomCo | Emmanuel Covenant Church

We are excited to be bringing back our MomCo Meetup! The MomCo (formally known as MOPS) encourages and equips moms to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders, in relationship with Jesus, and in partnership with the local church.

Men’s Game Nights

Join with other ECC guys on the first and third Saturday nights each month for game night where we can  build community, share some laughs, and play some serious games! Throughout the year this group will gather together on Saturday nights to enrich relationships by sitting down to some friendly board games of various kinds.
