Jesus’ departure must have felt abrupt. For three years, Jesus’ disciples had spent most of their waking hours learning from the Master Himself. Now He was gone! They later came to realize that Jesus had been intentionally equipping them with everything they needed to disciple others in “The Way.” This Lent, let’s sit at the feet of one of those disciples as he describes the kinds of things that separate counterfeit Christianity from authentic faith.
