There are so many opportunities to connect this summer!
Here are some of the ways you can take advantage of summer 2026 to “find your people!”
Intergenerational Services
Join us for our intergenerational services on August 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30!
We will be worshiping together in shorter, family-friendly services inside the Community Center during the month of August followed by outdoor fun at the Haffeman Pavilion afterwards on the dates specified below. Childcare for these services will be provided for ages 0-3 years (nursery and tots).
9:00 & 10:30am — English services (Shoreview Room)
10:00am — Bilingual service (Community Room)
Outdoor Fun Events:
August 2 — Dog Days at the Pavilion
August 9 — Picnic at the Pavilion: Pack some snacks or lunch and join us at the pavilion after any of our services. There will be fun inflatables for kids of all ages, and games on lawn!
August 16 — Festival Emmanuel: Our Festival Emmanuel brings together the many cultures of our church and community by featuring food, music, games, and dancing from all the countries represented by our members. Hosted by our bilingual Spanish ministry, Juntos, this event is a fun way to experience the cultures and cuisines of many different nations!
Messy Color Games | August 19
We will be partnering with Salem Covenant to have a ton of messy fun. Wear clothes or a swimsuit that can get wet & dirty, and bring your friends! Open to all students entering 6-9th grade. The event runs from 6:30-8:00pm, and you can make a $5 donation at the door if you’d like!

Tuesday Morning Men’s Bible Study
Tuesday Mornings: 9:00-11:00am
Emmanuel Studios
Kevin Alstad and Michael Scherb lead a weekly Tuesday morning Bible study with the potential for some occasional church projects. They hope to bring men together to refine their purpose, to explore anew their relationships with God and community, and to leave a God honoring legacy.

Camp ECC, our Summer Kids’ Program, helps kids learn about Jesus and have a lot of camp-themed fun through music, skits, and games. And best of all, there are no mosquitos!

2026 Park Play Group is back this summer!
Every summer a group of ECC parents (mostly moms but dads are welcome too!) meet at local area parks one morning a week for a fun, informal play time. This summer we want to be even more intentional about inviting newcomers to ECC as well as friends from our neighborhoods to come to these fun times, bring their kids, and get to know us. It’s a great way to BLESS our neighborhoods. We will meet on Thursdays, from 9:30-11:00am. If you have any questions, contact Melissa at melissa@emmanuel.church.

Women’s Game Night
The second Friday night of the month is Women’s Game Night! 7:00pm at Emmanuel Studios! Come for an evening of hanging out, playing games, and just getting to know other women at Emmanuel.

Men’s Game Night
Join us for Men’s Game Night, a men’s group that meets twice a month to play board/card games, and generally hang out for a few hours. We enjoy friendly competition and enjoy games of all types. Feel free to bring a friend, this is a way to introduce friends to our community.
We meet the 1st and 3rd Saturdays @ 8:00pm at Emmanuel Studios (1775 Old Highway 8, New Brighton, MN 55112).
Don’t feel compelled to bring anything—we will supply games, snacks and beverages of our choosing. Feel free to bring whatever you prefer or would like to share with the group. For more information, click here.
TWENTY-SOMETHINGS and Friends!
At ECC we believe people in ALL stages of life need a soft place to land. This is why we’ve created a new thing for our “twenty-somethings” – our adulting kids (you’re still our kids!) who often are overlooked during the hustle of the rapid shift from childhood to adulthood.
Our young adults do a tremendous amount of serving, so we would like to serve YOU as a way to say “thank you” and to replenish your spirit! Please join us throughout the summer for meals and events meant to provide opportunities for connection and fellowship (see dates below)!
