Setting Healthy Boundaries in Relationships
Beginning February 2nd, this group is led by Emmanuel’s Charmagne Wallin and MHP Mental Health Professional Anne Cromwell-Johnson from 9:30am-12:00pm. Based on bestselling authors Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend’s book, Boundaries, this group will go through an 8 week DVD series and group discussion. The series offers biblically-based answers to tough questions showing us how to set healthy boundaries in our relationships.
Emmanuel Covenant Church is hosting an 8-week series, Saturdays 9:30 AM to Noon, starting February 2, 2019, through March 30, 2019.
Christians often focus so much on being loving and giving that they forget their own limits and limitations. Have you ever found yourself wondering?
· Can I set limits and still be a loving person?
· How do I answer someone who wants my time, love, energy, or money?
· Why do I feel guilty when I consider setting boundaries?
Drs. Henry Cloud and John Townsend give you biblical based answers to these and other tough questions, and, show you how to set healthy boundaries with your parents, spouses, children, friends, coworkers, and even yourself.
Boundaries are personal property lines that define who you are and who you are not, and, influence all areas of your life. When Boundaries are clear, we develop a well-defined sense of who we are, as Beloved individuals, of God.
The series is divided into eight sessions. Each session is designed to use the video content and group interaction.
