“Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.” –Proverbs 22:6
Nursery & Tots
Infants and Toddlers
While you worship, infants, toddlers, and two year-olds are welcomed into safe and caring environments designed just for them. We provide carefully-screened volunteers, a room filled with fun toys, and songs and stories about Jesus. Which should add up to about 65 minutes of diaper-free, nookie-free, and Cheerio-free worship for you!
Preschool - Grade 4
Our preschool environments are full of objects to touch, wild and wiggly activities to get kids moving, and interactive songs and Bible lessons. As your kids grow, Kids Church grows with them! Our elementary age kids love the teens and adults who provide a morning filled with fun and discovery.
Students in grades 5-6 are at a unique crossroads in life. Most are ready to move beyond elementary teachings, but most aren’t ready for the topics and level of training that we offer in ECC Teen. We help our “tweens” navigate this crucial transition from childhood to the teen years through an outstanding Sunday morning program and special events. Tween programming is currently offered during our 10:45 service only.
Registration is easy
Simply enter through the Upper Level entrance to the Shoreview Community Center and look for the ECC Kids table immediately to your left. Helpful staff and volunteers will be able to help you register your child and answer all your questions.
We card because we care
Like you, we want to know that our kids are safe. All of our leaders provide references and submit to a background check. We also provide each family with a security tag. Security tags must be presented when picking children up after the service.
Kids share more than toys
In order to maintain a healthy environment, we ask parents to care for their children at home when kids exhibit the kind of symptoms that keep you home from school.
Activities & Events
Our Sunday Worship Services are a place where our kids are regularly seen and heard! When Kids Church is in recess and children join the adults for worship, we often include songs and object lessons that actively involve our kids.
We also involve kids in our church-wide compassion and justice projects, coordinate occasional park playdates, and offer special family groups and events.
